Before we left on our trip I sent a message to my cousin and his wife who live in Southern California.
Jim is my cousin from my dad’s side (Andresen).
I wasn’t sure if anything would come of it because of COVID and we weren’t going by their area. But they decided to change their weekend getaway from
San Diego to Santa Barbara. They met us at Leadbetter beach and it was what we all needed. The last time I saw Jim & Nicole was when she was pregnant with her daughter, who is almost 5. And although I have seen pictures it was so much better seeing them in person.
