The RV show

We were excited that the RV show was back in Seattle.   Thankfully we also didn't have too many basketball games going on so we were able to go. It was fun to talk about RVs and to see some of the fancy ones that are out there.  But we are still so happy with MARV. 

Wednesday ski day

I convinced another friend (Erin) to go skiing with me.  I’m getting better.  We went up on a Wednesday which made for a bit more of a time crunch but we still got in quite a few runs.   

Olympic Day

It was Olympic Day at the school.  Brad was excited to pull out some of his Olympic Gear.  I even got to wear his Opening Ceremonies jacket.  

Valentine’s box

Bo had to make a Valentines box for class.  He wanted a pig on a skateboard.  I thought it would be fun to add the tutu. 

Daddy’s fort

Darby was feeling bummed that she didn’t get to have a sleepover so Brad made a fort for her.  She really was excited about it but she isn't exactly a morning person and this was taken just after she had woken up. 

Birthday - Part 2

The 2nd part of my birthday included some forced family fun up at the mountain.  Brad has ski racing friday nights and I have been enjoying our time up there.  Brody & Ollie don't usually go but this time I made them go for my birthday.   We didn't have the best snow conditions but we all had fun on the mountain. 

Brad even had all the people still sitting in the bar sing Happy birthday to me.  

What a fun way to end the day!

Birthday-Part 1

My birthday landed on a Friday so I decided to take advantage of my kids being in school.  I convinced a few friends to join me for a snow adventure and we decided to go cross country skiing.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day and a perfect way to celebrate my birthday.  I am thankful for my body that can continue to do fun adventures.  Thankful for friends who truly love me so dearly.  Thankful for my family and the many ways they love me.

Birthday Buddy

Last year our new neighbors moved in just before we left on our RV trip.  We didn't know that our birthdays are only 1 day apart.  This year we decided to blow out candles together. 

Eye doctor

Darby had an appointment for her eyes so I took this picture of us in the waiting room.   Thankfully nothing is really wrong except for a little bit of allergies. 

Birthday Snowshoe

I planned another snowshoe adventure around my birthday.  I sent the evite out a little later so it messed up some people's plans but we still had 8 ladies for this adventure. 

We decided to head to Lake Easton which is a little further than the pass but it was a beautiful day and we had so much fun.   This event always makes me feel so loved. 

Coaching

Brad is currently coaching 3 basketball teams and helping with another one.  Plus some baseball.  It's fun watching him coach even if they don't always win.

Fresh snow

We had some fresh snow so my friend (Rene) said she would drive up to the pass so I could get more practice.  She was so patient with me as take a little bit longer to get down the hill. 

More mom skiing

I convinced another friend to join me on the mountain.   We did a few runs on Holiday and then tried out a blue run.  I didn't do an awesome job and our legs were tired so we did one more green run and headed home.   

We were above the clouds and it was a bummer to head back down to the fog.

IHS Bball

It was Issaquah Select Basketball night at the high school game.  Darby joined her teammates and they announced them at half time.  Then they got a picture with the high school players.  

Chasing the sun

My friend Shea had a Monday off work and I didn’t have any jobs lined up so I was in when she asked if I wanted to go on a hike.   We decided to hike Poo Poo Point, an oldie but a goodie.
