Moving Help

 We needed some help moving some furniture and thankfully Colt's friends are now big enough and strong enough to help with some of these tasks.  The good news is no one was injured in the process. 

 

Power Washing

 We did some backyard cleaning specifically power washing chairs.  The boys were very helpful and had fun with this task.  They especially liked being able to see the progress they made.  It was very satisfying. 

Cereal Challenge

 They had a cereal box domino challenge at school.   One of the teachers sent me this picture of Bo setting up the cereal boxes.  

Good morning!

 Another morning walk to school.  I will definitely miss this! 

 

Graduation!

We had a perfect day for Brody's graduation. It was a bit overcast but still pleasantly warm. I was very pleased with how everything went. Some complain that it is too big for the schools and while I agree I don't really know what other options we have. 

 

There were some great pictures taken by the school district social media. 

 

 We stopped by Grammy's after to get a picture. 

The hardest part was meeting up with Brody after everything was over.  It was so crowded and Brody didn't have his phone so we used an old school method and had Bo up on Colt's shoulders.  

Senior Celebration

Since this is our first kid graduating high school we had a lot to learn about all the activities and events with Senior Year.  They have a Senior celebration at the high school and I heard it was a great event because it was the best time to take pictures.  We made all the kids go even if there was some grumbling.   

 I really enjoyed the event.   They did a great job making it engaging and meaningful.  The only problem is it was very hot inside the gym.   They aren't used to hot days so the air conditioning doesn't quite work. 

 After the little ceremony we were able to take some pictures out in the Courtyard.

Cornhole

We went to Abi's grad party (everyone except Brad & Darby). 

 

I love how the boys just start cornhole.   I love watching them play games together.  

 

Senior Prom

Two weeks before Prom Brody wasn't even thinking about going. A friend of his knew a girl that needed a date so he set Brody up with Meskie.  Even though it changed my plans I am so glad Brody was able to go.  He had a fun time even though he told me he wasn't a big dance person. 

 

It was fun to see him all dressed up. 

 

 

Morning Walks

Bo and I have enjoyed walking to school in the morning. I told him I won't be able to walk him to school next year because we would have to leave at 4:30 in the morning.

 

Top Golf Fun

 Ollie was invited to a friends birthday party at Top Golf.  Always fun to have parties here.  

Soccer Banquet

 Ollie had a soccer banquet for his high school team.  The Varsity coach left before the banquet happened so it was probably one of the more disorganized banquets I have been to but it did make for a very efficient banquet especially for someone on the C team. 

Oklahoma

Darby had a softball tournament in Oklahoma. It coincided with the College Women's World Series. 

 

Darby's team didn't win as many games as they would have liked but they had a great time traveling together and seeing some College players in action. 

 

 

 

Last IBC tournament

Bo's IBC (Issaquah Baseball Club) team had their last tournament ever. They won't be a team next year. They played in the Art Wright tournament and won it. (Now to be fair they were placed in a division that they should not have been in. They easily won all their games. But we all agree it was a great way to end this run with the team.
