Beach Day

Our first days in Florida involved adjusting to East Coast time and then soaking up some rays at the beach.  There may have been a sunburn involved but it wasn't because a mom didn't tell her kids to put sunblock on.  

 

Surprise!

Darby, Bo and I flew to Florida for Spring Break.  We decided we wanted to surprise Jessi and Sayler.  Jenny was very helpful in coming up with a plan and executing it.  

It's a long flight but we made it.  John, Jenny and Elijah picked us up at the airport then we drove to Jessi's house where we surprised her at home.  It was so fun! 

 

3 Down, 2 to go

 

Ollie successfully passed his driver's license.  It feels like a big accomplishment for me too. 

I am with him 99% of the time he is learning to drive so it is a bit of a relief to have that part over (at least for another year).   Don't worry I will still worry about him driving on his own. 

Go Blue!

We dressed up in our Michigan gear so we could cheer them on in the basketball championship. Go Blue!

 

Easter

Our Easter was wonderful (although it did feel weird without Brody). We went to church and then changed into our outdoor clothes (except for Brad) so we could go up to the property.

Papa Bob and Sean hid about 100 Easter Eggs and even though my kids declared they were too old for a hunt they were more than happy to participate.  Grandma Shari even had big prizes for the 8 golden eggs. 

After the property we went to Brian and Angie's and had a delicious Easter dinner.

The kids played a lot of basketball and then took a break and played Among Us on their phones.  They were just spread out all over the backyard. 

 

T-Mobile Game

The Varsity baseball team gets to play at T-mobile park every year and this year Colt was able to play. We actually didn't think he would get to play that much but he ended up playing 3 innings and he had 2 at bats.  He struck out the first time but his second plate appearance had a hit and an RBI.   He also made the last play at home plate to end the game.  

It was such a gorgeous day!  

 

Darby's 14th!

We celebrated Darby's 14th birthday although it was a bit delayed since she was in Kentucky on her actual birthday.

 She made her own boards for her birthday party. 

More Middle School Basketball

A few more pictures of Bo's middle school basketball. He had a great time and we had to get a picture of Bo & Finn.

 

Spring Tolo

While we were gone Colt went to spring Tolo. They had a big group and he said he enjoyed his evening.

 

Bo's State Basketball

Bo's select basketball team qualified for state and I got to join him. Brad was in Kentucky with Darby. We had a sweet time together and it was fun to hang out with his team but more importantly watch him play basketball.
