Christmas Morning

We had to wait on this sweet boy to open presents. But I am glad no one woke him up, he needed his sleep.

First was our attempt at family photos.

Then we read the Christmas Story from the Jesus Storybook Bible.

Time to open presents.

A few videos.....

It was a great morning with our family.

Christmas Eve

We came back from Bainbridge on Christmas Eve. I was helping with the Children's choir at church. Darby and I went early to help out.

We had time to get some family pictures.  Not too bad.

After church we went home and enjoyed an easy pizza dinner with Papa Bob, Grandma Shari, Jessi, Gunner & Sayler.  They were at church with us.

They left and we went to look at Christmas lights.

We stopped at the Lipnickey's.  They were serving hot chocolate, candy canes and fudge.

After we went to Nutcracker Lane in our Neighborhood.  Santa was there.

Once our drive through the neighborhood was over we went home and watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

One of our favorite lines.  "Real nice!"

It was a great Christmas Eve.

Christmas Gifts

We enjoyed opening all our Christmas gifts at Grammy & Fafa's.

It ended up being a very late night.

Crepes & Christmas

We headed over to Bainbridge Island last Saturday to celebrate Christmas with Fafa & Grammy and Uncle Brian & Aunt Angie.

In the morning we decided to go out to breakfast and stumbled upon a crepe place.  The kids loved it!   It was a fun way to start our day.

We went back to Fafa & Grammy's and watched football.  Then we took another break by heading to Battle Point Park.   We all had fun playing ball tag.

We had a yummy Christmas dinner then watched the Seahawks play the Kansas City Chiefs.  I am happy to report that I watched 3 whole quarters and part of the 4th quarter.  Then I started to get sick and nervous and I had to go calm myself down by laying in the other room.

Thankfully they pulled off an awesome victory and we enjoyed the rest of the night.

Before presents....family pictures.

Snowflake Lane

We went to Snowflake Lane a few weeks ago. It was crazy and crowded but we still go because we know Darby & Bo especially love it.

We met up with our friends, the Hodo's and that definitely made it more enjoyable for the older kids.  Plus, we just send them all to the front and the us adults get to hang out in the back.

Neighborhood Fire Truck

Eastside Fire & Rescue came through our neighborhood a few days before Christmas. We just had Sayler and Darby with us.

They stop at the park and collect unwrapped gifts.

It's such a great thing in our neighborhood and thankfully it wasn't raining.

A sweet moment

I caught this sweet moment between Brody & Bo. It made my mom heart melt.

They were just chatting up a storm and of course Brody was making Bo laugh.

Live Nativity

Hands down our favorite Christmas activity is the live nativity put on by Calvary Chapel. It's right up the hill from us so it doesn't seem like an especially long trip. Sometimes we do have to wait. We think they do such a great production and the kids look forward to it too.

1st Grade Winter Concert

Darby had her 1st Grade Winter Concert. She put on her best white shirt which was more like a short dress so I convinced her to put pants on too. She rocked the dress over jeans look with her black high heels. This girl is just the best!

She is int he very front on the left.  She sang with confidence and we could tell she was having fun.
