Bowling

 Brad had a weekend of games at Lake Limerick, called the O'Limericks.  One of the events was bowling and he was determined to improve his score, mostly so he wouldn't be terrible.  He invited me to go bowling with him.  I think it was the best game of bowling I had.  Brad was working on some different techniques so his score was a little wonky.  But the most important thing is he had a great game of bowling at the O'Limericks.  

More Tennis

We have really enjoyed watching Ollie play tennis. Here are a few more pictures from his tennis matches.

 

Seahawks Opener

Brad and I were able to go to the Seahawks opening game which ended up being on a Wednesday. We also went to a concert before with Zach Bryan. We really had a fun time watching him play. The Seahawks game ended up being more exciting than we thought it would be and thankfully they pulled off the victory.

 

Senior Backpack

I guess Senior Backpacks are now a thing. Although it is another trend this is one I think is very fun. Colt decided on Wild Kratts so we ordered him a backpack and I'm not sure how all of his school stuff fits in there, but that's not my problem.

 

Tennis time

Ollie surprised us all and decided to try out for the tennis team. He made JV and is having a great time. We love watching because it is a pretty relaxing, low stress environment.

Driving home

A few pictures from our drive home after our trip to Jasper and Banff. We stopped for ice cream. We did some fishing at one of the campgrounds. Then our last stop was dropping Brody off at WSU. I cried again. It was such a great trip.

 

Banff Pics

After our time at Lake Louise and Moraine Lake we went back to our campground.  The next two days we did laundry, explored Banff, went fishing and enjoyed being with each other.

Hike to the Bears

When we were at Moraine Lake we decided to hike to the Valley of the Larches. Colt was itching to do something longer and harder but we had to remind him not everyone was in as good of hiking shape as he was. It was a good hike. The best part is we saw a grizzly bear and her two cubs. Thankfully they were far enough away to make me feel better.

 

Moraine Lake

After Lake Louise we got back on the shuttle, some grabbed the appropriate hiking shoes and we left to go to Moraine Lake. It was just as beautiful and also just as crowded.  The kids got their instagram pictures and then we settled on a good hike at the Lake.
