Fun at Fort Flagler

This year my brother and sister decided to camp at Fort Flagler for a few nights. It was great to have them there (although a little hectic at times). Jason took the kids crabbing so that was a nice break in one of our days. 

They kids explored the bunkers together too. 

 

Trip to Fort Flagler

This year it was Ollie's turn to ride with Brad out to Cross Country Camp. He was so excited to finally be able to do this.  He was a great sport even though they had to wait in ferry lot for a VERY long time. 

Non Stop Playing

With all the cousins in one place...and a few extra it was non stop playing. They played many games of capture the flag. Even Bo, Elijah and Darby played and were part of the victories. 

Papa Bob also had some water balloons so we had an epic water balloon fight.  

This was only part of the fun they had.  They could do this all day long.

My sisters came to town last week. Jessi organized a birthday party for Gunner.  It was a great reason to get all of them together and take a picture.  

This is the picture on my parents computer that was taken a while ago.  There is no Darby, Elijah or Bo.  We wanted to recreate it.

Early Morning Paddle

I went with some of my friends for an early morning paddle board ride. It was such a great way to start the day. I love my friends! 

Two Wheels

Bo has been ripping around on his scooter and has had no problem balancing. We both knew he was very close to riding his two wheel bike. We just needed to actually take a little time with him. After a trip to the park I decided to have him try it.  It only took him a few tries before he got it. 

He is so proud.   

I'm looking forward to a few family bike rides. 

A little Beach Day

We met my friend Rachael and her kids down at her beach park. She has access so we can only go when she goes. It's a great excuse to get together.  

The kids had so much fun! 

Orange Trident Gum

Last weekend Brad was out of town for his Coach's Camp.  He left Thursday morning and all was going well....until Colt woke up Saturday morning not feeling well.   He ended up with a low grade fever for most of the day. 

I sent Ed (Brad's friend) a message to see if he could pick up a few things at the store for me.  Milk, juice etc.  

He was so kind and went to Costco.  He got a few "extra" things.....and it was a lot of extra things, including this big box of Trident Gum.   This is one of Bo's favorites. 

I'm happy to report that Colt was better by the next day.
