15 first dates

We went on our 15th first date on April 19. This is our favorite tradition. We had to leave Colt's baseball game a little early and it still felt like we were a little rushed. One day we will have all the time in the world, but for now we are thankful for our busy lives and the family we have. 

Oh and we LOVE, LOVE Duke's Chowderhouse.  They always treat us so well.   

 

Baseball practice

Bo has been loving his batting practice. I think its mostly because it is just me and him. As always, it will be fun to watch him grow and how his interest in sports progresses. He definitely has some good examples to follow. 

Park fun

We met up at Central Park with Aspen and Brighton.  It is always fun hanging out with them. 

Crazy Hair Day

To add to the craziness of our morning, the kids had crazy hair day. We didn't too bad for some last minute planning.  I think there should be more crazy hair days for everyone. 

A bigger gap

Darby was riding in the John Deere Gator and ran into our neighbor's power wheel vehicle.   It knocked out her front tooth.  Now her gap is even bigger.  

Spring Break

Here are some more pictures from our wonderful time at the beach.

Darby's hair was becoming a problem since it was blowing in her face quite a bit.  Grammy was quick to help her out. 

On one of our rainy days we went to Seabrook and walked through a few of their stores. 

And also took some pictures. 

We went in the hot tub....a LOT!

Brad took the boys on some adventures....mostly looking for treasure.  They found some coal and a few buoys. 

Playing in the Waves

We went to Moclips for Spring Break. We left on a Sunday and came back on Saturday. It is truly the perfect vacation for us, even with rainy, stormy days. Here are some picture and videos of the kids jumping in the waves. The cold and rain didn't stop these kids from the adventure. But they were also promised the hot tub afterwards. 

Cleaning up the mess

Bo made a mess (again).  

So he had to clean it up and Brad was able to get a few pictures and videos. 

Dads at Recess

On the first friday of every month they have Dads at Recess. Brad can't always go but he sure enjoys it when he can. Last month Brody told Brad that it was ok if he couldn't make it. (It wasn't a big deal to him). I told Brody that he only had 2 more dads at recesses left and I think it really made him realize that he will be moving on to middle school. (And yes I was teary thinking about it). 

Track Meet

Colt went with Brad to his track meet in Bellingham. The team rode up in a big RV (owned by one of the parents).  So Colt had a warm, dry place to watch the meet. 

Brody's 11th Birthday!

We celebrated Brody's 11th Birthday! It's always hard to believe another year has gone by. We are so proud of him and thankful he is our first born. He is a natural leader at home and at school.  We are just sad that he is growing up so quickly.
