Auctioneer

Last year Brad was asked to be an auctioneer at a fundraising for Days for Girls. If you haven't heard of this organization you can check them out at www.daysforgirls.org 

The event was originally scheduled for February 9th but it was changed due to the snow.  Brad did a great job and had a lot of fun.  More importantly the event raised money for the Snoqualmie Chapter of Days for Girls. 

And now we know we have another career opportunity for Brad.  :)   

 

A little bit of skiing

We have done some skiing. Bo is even up on the chair lift. More pictures and videos to come. 

Flying Circus

The kids have the week off of school. Yes, after two weeks of almost no school. So, of course I had to plan some things to get us out of the house. Darby won a gift card at church for the Flying Circus so we decided to go there. We also met a few friends there. It was fun and a good way to get some energy out. 

And I'm happy to report at the age of 41, I can still jump and do a few toe touches.  But I have never learned how to do a front flip.

Shopping Spree

Darby got a gift card to Justice for Christmas. It included a shopping day with Abi. 

Thankfully Angie went with them so I didn't have to shop.

Darby was bouncing off the walls before she left and had such a great time with Abi.  She came home with 3 new shirts and a new pair of leggings. 

 

Minute to Win It

Since our 2 hour delay was turned into a no school day we had to pull out all the creativity we could.  The three boys had friends over so they all came up with their own Minute to Win it games.   Then they all got to play them. 

We didn't have time to get to all of them but we did most of them. 

It was an absolute mess.  There was fighting and lots of "that's not fair" but it was a nice change from managing screen time. 

Snow break & Krispy Kreme

Colt had an orthodontist appointment on Thursday morning.  Usually I schedule these right before school but since they had no school we went to the appointment and then to Krispy Kreme.  It was just nice to be out of the house. 

 

Birthday Snow

It has always been a dream to have a snow day for my birthday. And this year it came true, in epic proportions.  I am so thankful I got to live this snow day with my kids.

I started to build a snowman and then Ollie finished it.

Then it started to snow some more and finally turned into rain. 

I finished the night with a snow margarita.  Yummy!

Birthday Snowshoe

This is the 3rd year I have organized a snowshoe trip that happens to fall around my birthday. So now I just make it a birthday tradition. 

I invited a lot of ladies, but with the snowstorms that rolled in a few had to cancel.   We still had a good turnout with 10 ladies total joining us.   

We decided to snowshoe in our own backyard rather than drive up to the Mountain Pass.  

We hiked Margaret's trail and ended up with a magnificient view.   We turned around after only a mile because we wanted to make sure we beat the impending snow storm.   It was almost perfect timing. 

I was sad some of my friends couldn't join us, but I am so thankful for all these wonderful ladies in my life.  I am so blessed!
