Free Haircut!

Brad took Colt to the Sounders game last night. They won 3 - 0. (I'm glad it offset the Seahawks game).

Rope Climb

Darby had a substitute teacher in her gymnastics class. She had all the girls climb the rope. I have to admit I was a little jealous.

Pumpkin Carving

Our neighbors were going to host a pumpkin carving party at their house but had to cancel at the last minute. Since there wasn't any rain in the forecast I offered to have it on our driveway. It turned out to be perfect since it made us get outside.

Colt was able to carve his pumpkin all by himself.  That made it easier for me since I had to help Ollie, Darby & Bo.  (Brad and Brody were at the Sounders game)

Home Depot Pumpkin Patch

Once again we found our perfect pumpkins at the Home Depot Pumpkin Patch. It isn't crowded and there is no line. I call that close to perfect.

New Playground

Lake Sammamish State Park has a new playground and we went 4 days out of 6 last week. I'm sure we will be visiting this playground a lot.

These pictures are from Saturday when there was also a cross country meet going on.  (Brad had to drop something off for another coach).  The playground was very busy but the kids didn't seem to mind too much.

Post Game Pictures

Since I am coaching Colt's team I haven't had a chance to take any pictures or videos. I'm hoping I remember to for these last few games. I did get these pictures of the kids playing with their friends, Liam and Rowan.

Great White Sharks

A picture and a few videos from Ollie's game. I love how energetic and excited he is for every play coming his way.

Soccer Buddies

I was able to watch some of Ollie's game last weekend (more pictures and videos coming). The thing that was most fun to watch was all of his friends who were so excited to see him. "Ollie!" "Hey, it's Ollie!" "Ollie's here!". I think they are big fans of Ollie.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

With the help of Papa Bob (watching Darby & Bo) I was able to go on a field trip with Colt's class. We went to the Seattle Children's Theater to see the play The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I'm so thankful I get to do these fun things with my kids.

Seahawks vs. Falcons

Brad and I went to the home opener and I had it in my mind that would be the only game I would see in person this season.  But then my sister Jessi called and said she wanted to fly home for a game.   The problem was she already sold her own tickets so after talking with Brad she ended up with his ticket.   It was going to be a fun game for Jessi and I to hang out.   However, as the game got closer and we realized this game might actually be a close game Brad was wanting to go too.  Fortunately his friend Kurt wasn't using his tickets so Brad went too.  It was a double win for me.   Kind of....except for the massive stress I was again dealt with.  Geez Louise!

This is us before the game.

Jessi left at half time to talk to some friends.   This is us when she got back.   What in the world was going on with our Seahawks?

This is me in the 4th quarter as I was stressed out with EVERY SINGLE PLAY.

And us after the game.  Phew!

Not sure how we would have felt if the outcome was different but we are so happy we won!

Balance Beam

I finally remembered to get some pictures and videos of Darby in her gymnastics class. Her class is now an hour long. She does a great job but you can tell it is tiring for her.

New Road

When we got back from our road trip to Prineville or road had been paved.   It is awesome!   Our road before was so bumpy.  If anyone fell on it there would definitely be blood.

The kids had so much fun testing it out.

Nanny's Memorial Service

Monday was Nanny's Memorial Service. We were able to borrow, buy and find some fancy clothes and shoes for all the kids.

Brody & Abi were in charge of the guest book.  Brody did such a great job.  It always makes me so proud (and a little teary) to see him completing a task with such confidence and poise.

Nanny's great grandkids

We are pretty good with these silly faces.

We will miss Nanny.  I am so thankful my kids were able to know her.  She lived to be 98 1/2.  What an impressive age to live to and it was certainly a life well lived.
