Ollie 15!

We celebrated Ollie's 15th birthday! He had donuts for breakfast, Chick-fil-a for lunch and cookies for his cake.  We love this guy and the fun he brings to our family.

St. Patrick's Ski Day

My friends Erin and Jen went skiing with me and it happened to fall on St. Patrick's Day. We had such a great time skiing. The weather was great and the snow was the best it had been all year (at least for me).

 

Make-A-Wish Gala

 

I volunteered at the Make-A-Wish Gala which meant I had to put on some fancy clothes and I actually curled my hair.  It was a fun night and a great organization to help. 

 

Celebrating 57!

We celebrated Brad's 57th birthday! 

 

We are so thankful for him and all he does for our family. 

 

State soccer

The day after we returned we were back in action with all the kids and their activites. Ollie's team had semi finals for their state playoffs. His legs had been bothering him but with physical therapy and some rest he was able to play.  Unfortunately his team lost in PKs.   It was a great run and they played well.

 It's rare to have all 4 of us together so I made sure we took a picture. 

Flight time

One of the other fun activities was going up for a flight with Uncle John and Wes. I didn't go and neither did Bo but the rest of the family took turns.

 

Relaxing time

We did some relaxing in Florida which was great because we often are so busy during vacation. Brad decided he wanted to read Harry Potter after exploring the world at Universal Studios.

We enjoyed lunch near Cocoa Beach.

Beach Day

We got back late Monday night from Universal Studios. It was nice because we had no other plans for the week and were ready to just hang out. After a lazy Tuesday morning we ended up going to the beach.  It wasn't super warm but it was plenty warm for our kids.   They surfed, made sandcastles and did some fishing.   Brad's favorite part was looking for sand bugs.  

 

Chocolate Emporium

Our last dinner at Universal was at the Chocolate Emporium. The chocolate and milkshakes are what make this restaurant so appealing.  We did get food too but the kids all enjoyed a milkshake treat.
