More giggles

I was getting Bo to laugh so I tried to get it on video. He wasn't laughing quite as hard but it was still cute.  The best part was when Darby tried to tickle him.  She was practically tackling him. 

Celebrating Darby

We celebrated Darby's birthday by going to the park, twice. We went in the morning to a new (to us) park in Wilburton. It was such a sunny day but it was still cold so I was trying to find one that wasn't in the shade.  I didn't have my camera or my phone when we went in the morning.  But I did get some from the afternoon.  Ollie wasn't with us because he was at a birthday party.  

When we got home we had cupcakes to celebrate.

Countdown to 7

Is there a better way to countdown to your 7th birthday than with your super cool older cousin? 

 I don't think so. 

Can't wait to celebrate Brody and his special day. 

 

Sunny Spring Day

I can't help it. I just had to take and post all these pictures of Bo. He is getting so big! We definitely enjoyed soaking up the warm sun and look forward to more spring and summer days ahead. 

Community Center

I only have Darby & Bo twice a week while Colt & Ollie are in preschool.  It is great!  I get to run errands with only two and its also some great one on one time with Darby (while Bo is napping).  But its also a little challenging because I am the one entertaining Darby.  I can't get much done at home, even though I always have high expectations.  I finally decided to figure out some more things we can do together when its just us 3.  

Our local community center has a toddler drop in.  I have known about this for years but this is the first time I have taken any of my kids.  

 

It is the best $2.00 I have spent in a long time.

Darby loved the variety of ride on toys they had.  It was great for a rainy, drizzly day. 

Quarter Rides

When Brad took the boys to the Lego movie I passed the time with Darby & Bo. We walked around the Crossroads Mall. Since shopping is my hell on earth we didn't go into many stores. Thankfully they have a ton of these ride on toys that only cost a quarter. 

Since I didn't plan on this little outing I didn't have any quarters. Thankfully Darby was just as pleased to sit in each of the rides.  

Her hair is a mess in this picture.  

I was able to fix it for this one. 

There was a kind soul who felt sorry for my daughter and spared a few quarters so she could ride.  She wasn't quite sure what to think of it. But enjoyed it in the end. 

Bo was sleeping in the stroller for most of the time. 

But we did let him go on one helicopter ride and I tried to get a picture.

Usually when its just us three I'm running errands or cleaning up the house.  It was nice to have this special outing with these two kids.

She's 2!

We were all so excited to celebrate Darby's birthday.  Brad took the boys to the store to pick out some presents for her.  She got a soccer ball, socks and a small collection of little people.
