Fro-yo for friends

Ollie spent some time with his friend Tristan since he missed the birthday party.  They went to get Frozen Yogurt then browsed the aisles at Target.   Ollie knows how to pick some sweet friends.

Portrait

Brody has been taking an art class this year and has done various projects.   I didn't know he was making this but he created it for me and gave it to me for my birthday.

What an amazing picture!  What a talented kid!

1-2!

Ollie had his 12th birthday party on March 11, his actual birthday.  He was so excited to invite his friends over to hang out and play games.  He was in heaven.  Friends fill his bucket!  And it made my heart so happy.

Ollie organized all the games and I think everyone had a ton of fun.

Cousin.

Zephyr came down for his spring break.   We were able to spend some time with him.  I barely got any pictures and Colt had already left for a baseball trip.

Spring Concert

We got back into the craziness of activities, one of which was Ollie’s spring band concert.

This kid loves playing in the band.

And of course he loves all his friends and they love him too.

Disney Springs

Our flight home didn't leave until 5:30 on Tuesday.   This was nice so we could sleep in a little bit.  Since there are a lot of us John & Jenny needed two cars to transport us to the airport.  We were deciding between the Ron Jon Surf Shop or Disney Springs and eventually chose Disney Springs so the kids could use their Disney Gift Cards, plus there was a Ron Jon shop there.

Brad and I drove to Disney Springs with everyone but Ollie.   He stayed back to go with Jenny, John and Elijah so Elijah made him a sno cone with his sno cone machine.

Our time was a little rushed at Disney Springs but I think we all felt like we had a chance to do some last minute Disney shopping.

Uncle John just got off work but drove home and then back out to Disney Springs with us.  We are glad he was up for one last adventure with us.

We made it home around midnight.  A long trip but one with lots of memories.   We are so thankful!

Tower of Terror

Since we were able to get through the Rise of the Resistance so quickly it gave us time to get back over to the Tower of Terror.  We got in line 10 minutes before the park closed and had to wait awhile to get on the ride.  Brad wasn't too excited about it but I reminded him that we had to go on the ride since we took a family picture in front of it.
Check out Bo's face.  He wasn't a big fan of this ride.  He did like the dropping and the thrill part but didn't like the ghosts etc.  (I don't like them either).

Rise of the Resistance

One of the most popular rides/experiences is the Rise of the Resistance which is in the StarWars area of Hollywood Studios.  We went on a ride earlier in the day and then as the park was about an hour from closing we got back in line for the Rise of the Resistance.    It said it was 120 minute wait but it only ended up taking us 45 minutes to get to the front.  We were very thankful for it.  We all enjoyed the ride and thought it was worth the 45 minute wait.

We are standing in line for a different one in these pictures.  And at one point Bo had to go to the bathroom so I took him and then had to go through the painstaking process of cutting the line to catch back up.  So in the picture below you can see me with my blue shorts and Bo trying to get caught up.

The people who operated this ride did an amazing job staying in character. It made the ride that much more appealing.

Rockin and Slinky

We went on Rock N' Roller Coaster and George said this was his favorite ride at Disneyworld.   It didn't disappoint but the jury is still out if it is our favorite.

We also went on Slinky Dog Dash which is a fun rollercoaster with a Toy Story theme.  I loved all the details as we waited in line to go on it.  (And I could have stayed in Toy Story land all day)

Hollywood Studios

On Monday morning we left to head to our list Disneyworld park, Hollywood Studios.  (This picture was taken at the end of our day).

Our first stop was to watch the Indiana Jones Stunt Show.
It's fun to see how they do some of those stunts.

We also went to the Frozen Sing A Long.   The kids weren't too excited about it and thought it would too juvenile but it was REALLY well done and it ended up being one of Brad's favorite parts of Disneyworld.
