Happy 5th Birthday!

After the park and ice cream we went back home and waited for Brad to get back. Once he came home we decided to go out for pizza. We went to our local Pizza Hut, where there were hardly any customers. We got some special treatment and had a great experience.

They even brought a free dessert to celebrate Colt's birthday.

Opening Presents

Brad picked out this new shirt and these pants.  Colt was so excited to put them on the next day (even though the weather was in the 80's).

He got a letter from his best buddy, Ryker.  It came all the way from Illinois.  He got ten dollars.  The boys are into money these days.

This picture makes Colt look so grown up.

Birthday Celebration at the Park

Colt's birthday started out with waffles. Then we were excited to have Sean with us to help celebrate (and to help me, thank goodness!)

We took a trip to Robinswood Park where I took a few pictures.

The kids had a ton of fun!

And since Dairy Queen was close by we had to stop for birthday treats.

Love, Love, Love!

I'm having a few technical difficulties so I'm waiting to post pictures from Colt's actual birthday. In the meantime I was able to get this adorable picture of Darby. I love how her eyes are gazing up.

This was taken with my phone so I'm still working on clarity/size etc.

More Fun at the Property

On Sunday it was just our family. We spent more time hanging out. It was a nice sunny day so it was very pleasant just relaxing.

Brad taught the boys how to use a magnifying glass to create a fire.  Nice!

Brody was loving it.

More tractor rides.
I think Brad had the most fun.

Brody etched Mom into this piece of wood using the magnifying glass.
So sweet!

Just a little s'more

Everyone else had left for the night so it was just us and the bears, deer and elk. We didn't see any bears but we did see elk and deer.

And although we had cake and two separate servings of ice cream we still had s'mores.

Brad checking out the elk with his flashlight.

Not sure why Colt decided to hide.

Hammocks, presents & cake

The kids loved playing on the hammock. I'm still a little surprised no one fell off.

Time for presents

And cake too!

A lot of Tractor Rides

One of the highlights of being at my parent's property was riding the tractors. I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or Papa Bob.

Andrew & Abi joined us and had a turn on the tractors too.

Darby was a little unsure at first, but quickly signed more after her turn was over.
