When we do our January Date Nights it forces us to be a little more creative with things. I was trying to think of a few things that we like to do, something creative that didn't require a lot of physical stress. This is when I came up with the idea of "helping" Brad with some of his woodworking projects.
I reserved some time at a community woodworking shop. We were both excited about it and I was ready to be his cheerleader.
Let's just say it turned out a little bit different.
In order for Brad to work on the equipment he had to be certified. This was only supposed to take 10 or 15 minutes. The owner started showing us around and before we knew it, 2 hours had passed.
We weren't terribly disappointed because he was quite the character and Brad and I had lots of laughs. It will definitely be a fun memory for us to talk about in years to come. And really isn't that the most important part of all of this.
I love this guy!
