Spooky Spaghetti

We had Spooky Spaghetti at the kid's school. And let me just tell you, it is absolute CHAOS. It would probably be better if I had a few drinks before but usually I am running around with last minute costume details so really I wouldn't have time to drink.

Anyways, the kids have a blast so we will be there every year until Bo is in middle school.

Bo as a Tiger.

Ollie as Peyton Manning

Darby is Jawa from Star Wars.

Colt is a cowboy with baseball hats.

Brody had a last minute costume change and ended up being Mini Vinnie.  It was an awesome costume!

Brad was a server and is a "Vinnie" which is how we came up with the mini Vinnie.

I caught Colt dancing.  :)

Maywood Meet

Brody had a cross country meet at Maywood Middle School. Bo and I were able to go there to cheer him on.

Nothing makes me more proud than watching my kids work as hard as they can, especially running in races.

At the end of the race they have to run one lap around the track.  Brody started to pass a kid and as soon as he did the boy would speed up.  So Brody stayed back a little and then tried it again.  The boy did the same thing.   But in the end Brody had a stronger kick and finished ahead of him.

He placed 5th overall.

Ivar's Clam

Ollie had a dentist appointment so we stopped at Jamba Juice for lunch. Across the parking lot, Ivar's was having a grand opening for their new store in Issaquah.

We went over to get a quick picture with the Clam.

But then Bo decided he didn't like the clam anymore.

He wanted glasses.

Then he wanted to take his own picture.

I love this kid. (but we do spend a lot of time together these days)

Family Party

We had a family birthday party for Bo last weekend. He was so excited and even more excited for presents and cake.  As always we are so thankful for the wonderful family we have who always supports us and celebrates these milestones with our kids.

Running fun

Brody had another cross country meet and it was another beautiful day.

He also had lots of fans, including Grammy & Fafa.  Plus Uncle Brian, Aunt Angie, Abi & Andrew came.

We are so proud of him and how hard he works at everything.

Sunny days

Bo and I met up with my cousin Carissa and her two boys. It was nice to be outside and enjoy the sun. We met up at Starfire (also Fort Dent Park) and the boys played at the playground. The best part is there was hardly anyone there.

Bo & Everett loved the pond.

Bo turns 5!

Look at this baby turning 5!

We started with donuts, of course.

And before his brothers and sister left for school we opened some of his presents.

Date at the Seahawks

We had tickets to the Seahawks game although to be honest staying home seemed like a much better idea. Less stress, can get stuff done and not worry about finding a babysitter.

After my search for a babysitter Brad called on his resources and convinced Uncle Brian to watch the game at our house.  Of course, Abi, Andrew and Angie came along too.

Once we were committed to going I was thankful for the time Brad and I got to spend together.

On our way to the game.

We haven't been playing super well and we were playing the number one team in the league, the LA Rams.   So there were a lot of fans that were just hoping we wouldn't be blown out in the first quarter.

Much to our surprise the game was very close, exciting and gave me LOTS of stress.

Unfortunately, the Seahawks came up short, but I am thankful we got to go.

Crossroads Skate Bowl

I had a lot of errands to run with Bo. I promised him we could take his scooter and go to a skate park. He didn't let me forget. We discovered this skate park near Crossroads Mall. I didn't know it was going to be a big bowl that required me to gently set him down in it.

Once he was in it he had a ton of fun!
