Mariners

Our neighbor Liam came over to play the other day.  He is 2 months younger than Brody and they seem to get along very nicely.  As soon as Liam came in Brody noticed his Mariners jersey so of course he wanted to get his on too.  I had to take a picture of these cutie pies.

Colt wanted in on the picture too.  But he is still in his pajamas. (and they are actually not his spiderman pajamas, but Gunner's)

Bendaroo Glasses

We were playing with the Bendaroos the other day and I made these glasses for Colt.  He picked out the colors.  He really enjoyed looking at himself in the mirror.

Popcorn and Tall Tales

We decided to have a popcorn and movie night with the boys (mostly to keep us sane).  Jessi brought over Mater's Tall Tales and a popcorn machine.  My boys had never seen one of these before so they loved watching it as the kernels popped.

These two videos are great!  The boys think its so funny that the popcorn is popping.  (You will have to ignore the crying from Ollie in the background.  He was trying to take a nap)

Eating popcorn and watching Mater's Tall Tales.  (You can't see us in these pictures but we were sipping on a glass of wine that we realized was wine that had gone bad.  Yuck!)

Poking Sayler

Brad was out of town on a business trip for a few days so I convinced my sister to come over and have a sleepover with us.  It was nothing short of chaos but we had a lot of fun with the kids.

Ollie and Sayler spent some time together and Ollie just wanted to pull her hair.   Look at how big Sayler is getting...she's so cute!

Confetti Cupcakes

After an afternoon of playing we decided to take the kids for a treat at Confetti Cupcakes.  We had never been there before so we thought it would be fun to check it out.  The kids loved it!  But who doesn't love cupcakes.

Lori was the superstar and managed all the frosting and crumbs with the 4 kids.

In this picture, Brody is leaning back to ask Karl how is cupcake was?

Thanks for the yummy cupcakes Karl & Lori!

Workshop

Annika & Ryker came to visit us the other day.  The kids spent a lot of time playing with the workbench.  I was able to get a few pictures.

Colt is very focused on his project.

Annika convinced Brody to put on his safety glasses and I was able to get a picture of these two super cute kids.  They are also such great friends.

Plaid Brothers

I was trying to decide what to put the boys in for church this morning.  I saw the plaid shirts that we got for Christmas from Grammy and decided to put all 3 boys in them.  I also needed a recent picture of the 3 boys together so I snapped a few.

Colt & Ollie

I told Brody and Colt to kiss Ollie for this picture.

I tried to get them to say I love daddy in this video but Brody was stuck on "I love Ollie & Mommy."

Outside Time

It was a cold crisp evening so we made sure the boys got outside.  It is always so refreshing for me too.

Here they are riding their bikes.

I love that Ollie's birthday is in March because it means he will be walking in the spring and summer time and won't have to sit in the stroller when we go outside.  He stays pretty happy in it for now.  He just loves watching his brothers and loves being outside.

Not much in this video....just riding their bikes.

Colt's scooter skills

The other day Colt pulled out the scooter and seemed to get the hang of it.  He was so proud of himself.  He tried it out again when we spent some time playing outside.

Unfortunately I didn't get a very good video of it.  I will try again next time but for now here he is with his newly discovered scooter skills.

Pajama Hats

Brody came up with this idea to put his pajama bottoms on his head.  He thought it was funny, then Colt thought it was funny.

And of course I had to take a picture.

More Fancy Tricks

The boys wanted to do more fancy tricks.  Colt became a little camera shy once we started taking a video.

I'm not sure where their goofiness comes from.

Friday Night Pizza Night

When I was in Australia the family that I lived with for a few months had Friday Night Pizza Night.  They usually ordered pizza but they always knew what they were having for dinner on Friday night.  I have always thought this was a fun family tradition and want to start it for my family.  It seemed like the boys were too young and they really don't love pizza like I thought they would.  But I finally decided to start working on making it a "Friday Night Pizza Night".  I was also inspired by our soccer friend, Brian, who makes his own pizza.  I figured if we start this tradition now I have a few years before my boys turn into critics of my pizza making skills.  For now we can just enjoy the mess and chaos that happens when we try to make pizza together.

Rolling out the dough. (yes, my boys don't have their pants on)

Colt's eye looks very weird in tihs picture.  I think he was in the middle of saying "cheese".

The boys each had the chance to make their own individual pizza.  This way their own germs stayed on their own pizza.  You can see the nice pile of pepperoni that Colt has on his.

The final product

As I said, my boys didn't eat much of their pizza but it was still fun to make them.  (If anyone has a good pizza dough recipe feel free to send it my way.  I'm still in the learning process.)

Dot Markers

I will admit it.  My boys are pretty well behaved.  As brothers they play great together.  Brody is especially helpful and understanding when it comes to solving problems and sorting out any fights they have.  This is not to say that they never fight but I know they really do a great job with this.  This also makes it easier for me to go upstairs and do a few things while they happily play together.

The other day they were using their dot markers to "color" a picture.  They wanted me to print up some more pictures for them.   I left them downstairs and found more coloring pages online.

I came back down and found this.

And this too...

Surprisingly I reacted very calmly, because really it was my fault for leaving them unsupervised for more than 2 minutes.  And they did only get it on their arms.

10 months!

Ollie is so happy to be 10 months!  He is even happier now that he can crawl everywhere and pull himself up on everything.  He loves his brothers, especially Colt.  He is a happy little guy (except at the moment he is fighting this yucky cold that has invaded our house).

We just love him to pieces!
(and I'm still finding it hard to believe he is 2 months away from turning 1).

I was trying to get him to clap (or babble) in these videos but I was unsuccessful.  So they are a little boring.

Fancy Tricks

Colt started to show us some fancy tricks.  Brody quickly joined in.   I had them pose for a picture together after I was able to get these two fun videos.

What goofy kids....but SO much fun!

I love how Colt gets his arms going to get ready for this.

Riding with Nanny

When we were at Nanny's Ollie went for a special ride.  At first he wasn't sure what to think but then he had a great time!

Happy Belated Birthday Jesus!

Our Christmas celebrations keep on going...even after the New Year.  This last Tuesday my parents (and Jessi, Gunner & Sayler) came to give the boys their Christmas gifts.  (Jessi already gave my boys their gifts...but she stayed for the celebration).   The boys loved getting more presents.

We also finally sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.  We wanted to do this for Christmas but kept getting sidetracked.

Brody got a Buzz Lightyear Space Shooter
Ollie got some clothes and formula.  :)  Colt got a new Helicopter.
