Pumpkin Patch

One of the teachers at Sunset asked me to sub for her class for a field trip. (Her name has been giving her trouble so she was worried about being able to participate).   It was raining the whole time but not as bad as I thought it might be.   The kids were good but also wild and we made it back to the school with all the kids.  I call that a win!  

 

Houston

Darby went to Houston for a softball tournament. It was interesting to see how they stacked up to girls from Texas.  They won their first game easily but then had a hard time getting another win.   But it was good competition and Darby had a fun trip.   Brad enjoyed his time too but said the flight was really long.  

 

HoCo '25

Colt went to Homecoming with Aubrie. They also joined a group of 36 of their closest friends for dinner.

 

They did not go to the dance....so annoyed by this...but went to a friend's house for a party.   They didn't stay very long which made me happy.

New Camera

 The kids like to go thrifting, sometimes for clothes and sometimes for other random things that I'm not sure what they will use the item for.  Although I suppose this is supposed to take videos....if it works.  I love their creativity and excitement to explore new things.  

Check up Time

 Bo had his 12 year old check up.  They brought him some water but all they had was this mug.   

 

All looks good, except the doctor did say he needs to do more chores.   

Canadian Cousin

Zephyr came down to visit and brought his girlfriend. We enjoyed meeting her and hanging out with both of them.  We played pickleball and had some yummy dinner cooked by Uncle Jason.  

 The next week we went to Papa Bob's house to hang out.  When I say we it was Ollie, Bo and me.   Brody was at school.  Colt went on a long hike.  Darby and Brad were at softball. 

 

We had another yummy dinner and also had some cupcakes for Bo's birthday.   

Happy 12th!

Happy 12th Birthday Bo! 

I think Bo's age will always be the most shocking to me. 

I can't believe my baby is 12. 

 

We love everything about Bo.....and everyone else loves him too!  

It was a multi day celebration because Brad was out of town for it but we celebrated with donuts, Fatburger, friends, sushi and mixed berry pie.   We also had a facetime call with Brody. 

It's weird to have these obligatory birthday pictures without Brody there. 

 

Bo Cross Country

I'm so far behind with posting pictures and updates. Bo has been running cross country and had his first meet a few weeks ago. He did such a great job! He ended up in 2nd during this meet and was the first 6th grade runner for his team. We are so proud of him and love watching him run.

 

Ross Lake

Colt was invited to join some friends at Ross Lake.  I've never been but it looks beautiful and Colt had an awesome time.  

 

Fall Softball

Darby's team had a local softball tournament and Brad was excited to bring MARV.  He grilled up some fajitas for lunch and the team had a fun time hanging out.  

Mom's day

I drove to Pullman to visit Brody for a day. It was so great to see him. He is so happy and loved showing me around campus. 

 

I took him to lunch and breakfast and we had cookies for dinner.   :)   

We also went shopping so I could get some Cougars gear. 

 What a fun and special time!
