Brad now has it in his plans to visit every state in the east. We had missed West Viriginia so after DC we decided to book it over to West Virginia. We stayed at the Harper's Ferry KOA. The next morning we were on our way to Gettysburg when we saw a sign for Harper's Ferry National Park. We thought we would swing by and maybe stay for 30 minutes to an hour.
But we stayed just a tiny bit (4 hours) longer.
Harper’s ferry is this cute little town that has some crazy history.
We spent some time learning and enjoying this area.
This is where the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers meet. For some reason this was a really unique thing to Colt so he was the one insisting on getting a picture.
It was so beautiful!
There was also a bridge we decided to walk across.
