We made it to the Welke’s house on Thursday, a bit later then we were hoping but we are always thankful to get places safely and with no major problems.
The Welke family is like family to us so we often just call them our cousins. Karl and Brad went to college together and Lori and I are great friends. They also have 5 kids with their oldest 2 being just months apart from Brody and Colt. Even though the rest of the kids are a bit spread out we have SO much fun with them.
A few other great things about them....they are amazing hosts and even have a dog, 4 cats, 4 ducks, 1 rooster, 12 hens and thousands of bees.
And with that we quickly settled into hanging out with the Welke family for a few days.
