Blowing Rock

Brad has a friend (Pete Rea) who he knew from running who lives in Blowing Rock.   I had never heard of the place but anytime we told someone about it they all said it was one of their favorite places.   We quickly learned why this was a well loved town.

First, we went down to Zap Endurance.  It's a retreat place for runners.

After our tour of ZAP endurance we parked our RV near Pete's house.   Then we went into town to get some lunch.

We walked down to the park and played our favorite car game.

The next morning Brad and I walked into town to get some coffee.

It was such a beautiful morning.

This is a gem of a town and hopefully we will be back to visit again.
