We definitely got to experience the workings of a farm and all the work that goes into operating one. The Millsap's have a CSA where people buy vegetables every week. They are delivered or picked up on Tuesdays. Since the Millsap's grow mostly vegetables they don't have many fruit options. However, they told their customers they would have fruit in this week's delivery. There weren't enough strawberries to harvest at the Millsap farm so Curtis had to call around to buy some strawberries from another farmer.
He was able to find some but then had to complete the task of picking them up. Brad joined him for the adventure and it was definitely an adventure since they ended up driving through a pretty big storm. (It was only drizzling when they left).
They left with 400 lbs of strawberries.
