After the boat museum we made our way over to the Lewis & Clark Interpretative Center. Lewis & Clark's expedition went up the Missouri River so there are a lot of museums about them. Sioux City is an important stop in their expedition because it is the place where the only person from their expedition died. Sergeant Floyd became sick with some sort of intestine issue and was buried in Sioux City. I was surprised to learn he was the only one.
Apparently some of the interactive exhibits for kids had been taken down but there was still enough things for the kids to be engaged in. They really enjoyed the museum.
