Starved Rock

After OshKosh & Madison I knew we needed to head south but wasn’t sure where to go other than an Illinois cornfield.    I texted Lori to see if she had any ideas since they lived in central Illinois for a few years.   Karl & Lori came back with a recommendation of Starved Rocks State Park and then said we could stop by his parents after.   So, we headed here to camp for the night.

It was a nice campground but the one downside is there was no access to the state park.  We slept for the night and the next morning we decided to explore the park before we headed out.   We were only going to be there for a little bit and ended up staying longer.   Sound familiar?
