Our next stop after Minnesota was back in South Dakota. We decided to drive a little longer so we didn't stay in Sioux Falls again and so we could make a little more ground on our travels. We stopped in Mitchell, South Dakota. We decided to go out for dinner because Brad was craving some chicken wings. As we were finishing up Ollie told us the spot from his tick bite was really itching him and had gotten bigger.
Neither of us could confirm that he did have a tick bite but he is positive it was from our time at Millsap Farm. It wasn't red and he had no other symptoms so all our research would tell us he was fine. But the fear of ticks and the potential problems made us take a stop at the nearest hospital.
The doctor looked at it and said we really shouldn't be worried about it. Of course we will keep our eye on it but we do hope this is the end of our tick tales.
