Pasties

After Fisherman's Island we headed north to the Upper Peninsula.  Even though Brad spent over 4 years at the University of Michigan he has never been to the UP.     The gateway between the lower peninsula and upper peninsula is the Mackinac Bridge (actually pronounced Mack-in-awe).

We found our RV place and then decided to try out the infamous Pasty for lunch.   We have been told many times that we had to try one of these.

Overall we liked them well enough to eat them but they weren't are favorites.  We can see why workers used to have these in their lunch.  They were very filling.
