A few weeks before Christmas we were invited to a Cookie Exchange for one of Brad's friends. It was a week night so we were trying to decide if we should go. Two days before the event Brad's friend, Chris, called to see if we were coming. He told Brad it was really important for him to be there. He finally had to tell Brad that it was not only a cookie exchange but that Chris was also getting married that night.
Of course, Brad had to go. But then we needed to decide what we were going to do with the kids. He asked if kids were welcome and Chris said "Definitely. There won't be a lot of kids there but it is kid friendly."
The second we walked into the party I knew our definitions of kid friendly were very different.
Needless to say, the kids were great. I felt like everyone was staring and wondering who on earth would bring their kids to a party like this. We did, all four of them. But they sure looked cute.
A highlight of the party was the photo booth. Somehow we managed to get some pretty adorable pictures of the ENTIRE family!
And Brody ended up stealing the show on the dance floor.
