We were driving home from a long weekend road trip when we found ourselves in the midst of a discussion with Brody about disciplining. Brad explained why it is important for us to teach him to listen, be obedient etc. yada, yada, yada. After our discussion I asked Brody if he heard what daddy said.
Brody replied, "No, my listening ears were on low."
