Darby, Bo, Tracey and I decided to wake up to watch the sunrise in Homer. Thankfully it wasn't too early, but since we went to bed so late the night before it felt early. This was our last morning in Homer so I knew the kids could take a nap during the drive to Anchorage.
While I love getting up early the sunrise was a bit anti-climatic. But I'm still glad we did it.
It was also entertaining watching this fisherman mess with his net. He would lay it out, walk up the beach, then walk back to the net, get his fish and then put the net farther out as the tide was going out. You can barely see his fishing line in the pictures.
