Orange Bike Day

Last year on May 21, Brad and Ollie were driving when they saw two people riding orange bikes. Just a few minutes later they saw two more bikes on the back of a car. Brad said "What is it? Orange bike day!" Ollie said "yes, I think it is. Next year we should celebrate!" And all year long they kept saying "Don't forget about Orange bike day on May 21." I didn't think they would follow through with anything but in true Brad fashion he went to the store and bought some orange painter's tape and we got our bikes ready for Orange Bike Day.

Ollie was super sad when he woke up and saw that it was raining.  I checked the weather on my phone and saw there was a break in the rain about noon.  So as soon as it started to let up we got on our bikes and went riding around the neighborhood.  It was a hoot!

We would ride our bikes past people and say "Happy Orange Bike Day!"  It always brought a smile to their face and some would even reply with their own "Happy Orange Bike Day!"

We can't wait to celebrate next year!

Mark your calendars.  MAY 21!
