What a crazy school year! Colt's 5th grade year was definitely the one with the most disappointment. He missed out on all the fun 5th grade activities including camp. The teachers did a fantastic job trying to make it special for them.
Mr. Merrill dropped off a bag of treats for each student and a folder with some "Socky" awards. They had to keep it closed until their class zoom meeting.
I peeked in on some of it and watched as Colt received a few different awards.
"Mighty Mathematics Skills"
"Maximum Effort while Distance-Learning"
"Michigan Loyalty"
"Incredible Kindness"
We are proud of him for all these awards and the way he has handled the end of his elementary years.
