Tinkham Camping

We had to schedule our annual Colt's Birthday camping trip a few weeks early. 

We went to Denny Creek on Thursday night but all the walk up spots were taken.   We were in a bit of a panic but then learned we could try out another nearby camping place.   Tinkham Campground was just a few miles down the freeway. 

We found a spot, pitched our tent in the dark and went to sleep with the sound of I-90 lulling us to sleep.   

We woke up the next morning and were thankful we had a place to camp but still not sure of our new place. 

Brad had to work on Friday so I was with the kids until Uncle Jason showed up with two other kids, Jade & Gage. 

 

Once they showed up everything was great.  The kids played in the river.

We also ate a few s'mores.

Our neighbors joined us at a nearby campsite on Friday night. 

Brad made it back too.
