More Golf

Our hotel was right next to the Poipu Golf Course. I asked Brad if he wanted to play golf again and he was a bit hesitant. He felt a little guilty for how much time golf took up but I reminded him that our last round of golf was over before noon and we still had a great day after. We had no sports to go watch or kids to drive around. So he went to check if they had availability and he picked a 7:20 tee time.

Brad was matched up with a guy named Jeff.  His wife did the same thing I was doing.  The only drawback is he only played 9 holes so Brad was hitting by himself the last 9.

Brad had his BEST game of golf ever.  He was SO happy.

After our morning of golf we went to the pool and enjoyed the lazy river which was the laziest river ever.  It hardly moved.   But we still enjoyed our time relaxing poolside. This is the only picture we got.

Hotel

After Poipu beach we checked into our hotel.    We splurged on this hotel mostly because it had a lazy river.   It was a beautiful hotel and we definitely enjoyed our time here.

We even had a nice dinner and drinks as the sun went down.

Poipu Beach

Our next stop was Poipu beach where we watched Darby's softball game on Gamechanger, did some snorkeling and then went to grab a late lunch nearby.  We missed seeing the turtles but we didn't miss the chickens on the beach.

Sunrise & Waterfall

Since we were on the Eastside of Kauai we woke up early and went to Starbucks so we could get our drinks. Then we went to the beach to enjoy the sunrise. WE both agreed that it's something we should do every morning when we are in Hawaii.

After leaving Kapa'a we drove to visit a waterfall nearby.   I'm not sure it was really worth the drive but it wasn't too far out of the way.

Day 3 - Kapa'a

After golf we headed a little south to Kilauea so we could stop and get some lunch.  It was fun exploring another part of the island but we didn't stay very long.   Our next stop was in Kapa'a where we had a cute little condo with a partial ocean view.

Once we were settled we went down to the beach and relaxed listening and watching the waves.

After some time at the beach we went on the hunt for dinner and ended up enjoying some sushi.   For our entire trip Brad wanted seared Ahi so we were always trying to find a restaurant with some to test out.

Princeville Golf

One of the things Brad wanted to do was play golf while we were in Hawaii. We were very close to the Makai Golf Course and when Brad asked they had a time for him to go.

I decided to ride along in the cart.  It was a beautiful course and Brad had a decent game.

We got to play with two guys (Robin & Travis).  Robin golfs there every week and actually grew up in Kauai.  Travis was his friend visiting from Santa Barbara. They were both super nice.

The lady came by with some fresh pineapple.   I don't like pineapple so I gave mine to Brad.
