My baby goes to Kindergarten

Bo had his first day of Kindergarten on Monday. 

He was SO excited!   He has an awesome teacher and already knows a few friends in class. 

 

Brad and I went to the school to watch him get off the bus and line up with his class.  He is the coolest Kindergartener at the school.  Mostly because he knows so many people at the school and they know him.

Ranger Station

We had the Smith Family Reunion at the Ochoco Ranger Station over Labor Day weekend. Brad was able to leave on Thursday morning so we decided to do the whole drive in one day. 

Within the first hour, Bo had thrown up twice.  He threw up one more time when we stopped for lunch.  We knew it was going to be a LONG day.  

But thankfully we made it and we were so glad to be there. 

I did not take a single picture while we were there.  It was so nice to not have my phone out every where.  I really should have just brought my camera but I don't use it that much anymore. 

Anyways, we had a ton of fun (as always) and our favorite was playing washoes. 

 

Unfortunately, I was the only family representative in the finals.  Doug and I did place 2nd. Hopefully next year one of us will be a winner. 

Our kids are all very good washoe players.  It's fun to watch them but it's also hard to watch them lose.  They are usually pretty sad when it happens. 

1st Day of School

Well, it finally happened. 

The first day of school. 

I don't think any of us wanted it to be here.  Not because we don't like school, but more because we had too much fun this summer. 

We are grateful for the teachers we have, the school we go to and the friends we will get to see.

Dinner with the Sounders

We were invited to a dinner with the Sounders. Our friends, Mike and Heather, invited us to this fun event. We went a few years ago and were so excited that we had the chance to go again. 

I had a goal to get a picture with all the Sounders who were there.

(Ozzie Alonso is my first Sounders boyfriend but he is now playing on a different team so maybe I should pick a new one?  Christian Roldan is in the running.  He is a great player but he was also very nice and outgoing at the event).

*Bryan Meredith was probably the most outgoing and friendly Sounders there.  But no one was sure who he was.   I actually just googled him right now.

Zephyr Time

My kids were so happy when they had some extra Zephyr time. 

Boot Camp Hike

I organize a boot camp in our neighborhood. Although its open to anyone, it really is all women that show up.  It has been the best and I have met some great ladies over the years. 

As part of our end of summer celebration I organized a hike up Poo Poo Point.  There were only 5 ladies that could make it but we all had an awesome time. 

This isn't me.  It's Jenny hiking in the woods but I just love the pictures. 

We made it up for the Sunset but came down in the dark.
