Noel

We went to our Christmas Eve service at church. I just love the way they do it with a family friendly service. The preschool kids have been practicing their song NOEL during Sunday School. Colt had a cold and didn't want to sing. Ollie wasn't very excited about it but once he got up there he did a great job. It always makes us so proud watching our kids "perform".

They had a little story/lesson for all the kids.

Rockin the Princess Heels

We've inherited some dress up clothes including these pink princess shoes. Darby discovered them and wanted to walk around the neighborhood.

She was so happy to pose for pictures.

Rockin' the princess heels!

Table

Well, this started happening within the last week.

Honestly, I briefly ran upstairs and came back down to find him on the table.

Lights

There's a house on the other side of Issaquah that we like to visit every year. Ginnaty Light Display. They do a fantastic job and are the sweetest family. They always pass out candy canes, matchbox cars, and this year a magic set for Brody.

I had the most fun watching Bo as he was enamored by the lights, music and trains.

Snowflake Lane

We made a last minute decision to head to Snowflake Lane. When we finally got everyone in the car and were on our way we realized we would be cutting it very close to the 7:00 start time. We thought of a few different options for our family outing but in the end decided we would try it and see what would happen.

We found a parking spot at 6:59 and walked to Snowflake Lane just as it was starting.  I was a little bummed to be late to the show but in the end it all worked out.

We told Brody, Colt & Ollie to go to the front where all the kids were.  They had fun but I couldn't take pictures.

Darby & Bo stayed with us in the back.

After the show was over I tried to take a few pictures of them dancing in the street.

Snowflake Lane is always festive, but it is also a lot of work.  Maybe one of these years we will have it all figured out.

The Carousel

The last part of our downtown adventure was riding the carousel and eating lunch. The kids loved it. Even Bo had fun.   They wanted to go a second time.
