Here we go again....

Most of our readers likely know our news, but for those that don't you do have the satisfaction of knowing before our news is officially posted on facebook.  We are expecting our 4th baby in March!   Here are a few questions that you are probably asking so I will just answer them for you.

Was this "planned"?   We know this is part of God's plan.  And as much as we like to be in control of things we know we really aren't.   All that to say, we "planned" for this baby and definitely wanted to add to our family.

Are you hoping/trying for a girl? The canned answer is "we just want a healthy baby."  And yes that is what we want, but if I was in control I would want another boy.   Isn't it wonderful that we don't get to pick? because God knows what is best for me and our family.

Will you find out the gender of the baby?   We will find out the moment our baby enters this world.  We have done this with all three of our boys and I absolutely love it!

How are you feeling?    Much better, thank you.  I had a few rough weeks, feeling exhausted and nauseous but I know it could have been worse.  It seems like most of the yucky stuff is over, but now my belly is growing.

What is your due date?    The 3rd week of March.  This will be my third child born in March, with Ollie's birthday March 11th and Brody's March 28th.

We are absolutely excited and thrilled for another baby.  We love your support and prayers and know we could not do this without our wonderful family and friends.

M Go Blue

This past weekend Brad and I had the great pleasure of traveling to Michigan.  Brad was inducted into the Track & Field Hall of Fame at the Unviersity of Michigan.  I have pictures and stories to post (in the next few days).  You can read this article on the M Go Blue website which gives a brief summary of the ceremony.

1st Day of preschool

This year Brody is going to a new preschool.   The morning of his first day he was crying saying he did not want to go.  (insert mommy guilt).   He has done this before and I think it is his way of trying to see what he can get me to give in to.

I finally got him and the other two out the door.  But first we had to take a few pictures.

I'm not quite sure what Colt is doing in this picture.

We walked into Brody's preschool and he immediately forgot about me and was instantly captivated by all the activites they had set up.   The only trouble I had was when Colt laid down in the middle of the floor because he did not want to leave.   I finally picked him up and walked out with him and Ollie.

Brody LOVED his first day and is so excited to go back.

Bumble Bee Picnic

Brody's new preschool had a Bumble Bee Picnic to help start the new year.  Parents were invited but siblings were not.  Fortunately I was able to get a babysitter to watch the boys so I could bring Brody to the picnic.

The kids also had to bring a bug in a jar or a favorite stuffed bug.  Brody and I found a potato bug.  Surprisingly enough there were no other potato bugs at school.

We are so excited that Annika will be in the same class as Brody.  Here they are holding their bugs in a jar.

Sprinklers & Fudgesicles

We had fudgesicles the other night and the boys ate them outside.  We also had the sprinkler going so the boys decided to run through it.   Then I realized I still needed to get a good picture of Brody for his preschool.  I took these few pictures.

I also snapped this picture of Ollie with fudgesicle all over him.

Outdoor Summer Movie

Our awesome neighbors organized another event.  This was the first outdoor movie for our cul-de-sac and it was so much fun.   We used Brad's projector and speakers and hooked up a computer to play the movie.   We are hoping we will get to have one more before the summer is over.

This was the movie we watched.  What a great show!

Umbrella Shade

The boys took their umbrella from their picnic table and turned into some shade for our hot September weather.   They were so excited that they all cooperated for a few pictures.
