Relay Race

Darby has been running the mile and also a relay race where she runs one lap as the anchor in a medley relay. We really love watching her run. These pictures are the exchange between her and Tatum.

And Darby racing to the finish.

Morning Lessons

Brad arranged for a hitting/fielding lesson in the morning before Darby started school.

He also treated her to some donuts.

My loves!

One of my few requests for Mother's Day is to get a picture with my kids. You think it would be easier as they got older but I'm not quite sure.   They had my phone and it took us another 10 minutes before we finally got a group picture.

I love these kids!

Mother's Day

My mother's day started with a walk around the neighborhood. I had to go early so I could get back in time to take Darby to her softball tournament.  Bo had a baseball game around the same time so I couldn't be there for him.  Thankfully Grammy stepped in to be his mother representative.   And what a great job she did.

I spent the morning watching 3 softball games.  Brad and Grammy came down to catch half of the last game.  It didn't end the way we had hoped but it was a busy day.  The best part was the sunshine!

After Darby's game we drove back to Sammamish to watch Colt play baseball.  We didn't think he would play because he played quite a bit the game before.  So we were happily surprised when he got up to bat, not once but twice.

We celebrated baseball and softball and Mother's Day with blizzards.

Northern Lights

Brad saw some pictures on Facebook of the Northern Lights so he woke me up so we could check it out. You really couldn't see that much brightness with our own eyes but once you took a picture you could see all the beautiful colors. We decided to wake the kids up so they could experience it. Colt & Bo decided to go back to sleep. Brody, Darby & Ollie came with us. We drove to the top of Cougar Mountain hoping we could get a clearer picture and away from the lights.

It was pretty awesome!  Although I do wish we would have gone somewhere even further away and also wish that I could watch without being so tired.

Thankful for fun adventures like this.
