Dinner with the Sounders

We were invited to a dinner with the Sounders. Our friends, Mike and Heather, invited us to this fun event. We went a few years ago and were so excited that we had the chance to go again. 

I had a goal to get a picture with all the Sounders who were there.

(Ozzie Alonso is my first Sounders boyfriend but he is now playing on a different team so maybe I should pick a new one?  Christian Roldan is in the running.  He is a great player but he was also very nice and outgoing at the event).

*Bryan Meredith was probably the most outgoing and friendly Sounders there.  But no one was sure who he was.   I actually just googled him right now.

Zephyr Time

My kids were so happy when they had some extra Zephyr time. 

Boot Camp Hike

I organize a boot camp in our neighborhood. Although its open to anyone, it really is all women that show up.  It has been the best and I have met some great ladies over the years. 

As part of our end of summer celebration I organized a hike up Poo Poo Point.  There were only 5 ladies that could make it but we all had an awesome time. 

This isn't me.  It's Jenny hiking in the woods but I just love the pictures. 

We made it up for the Sunset but came down in the dark. 

Friend Birthday Party

We celebrated Colt's birthday with donuts, walking tacos and french toast casserole.

He also had a birthday party with friends.  I keep it very low key and keep them outside.  

But the weather wasn't cooperating this year.  Thankfully they were outside for an hour and a half before they came in with their dripping wet clothes. 

Then we tried to keep them entertained with remote control car races, dinner and brownies. 

Alki Beach

After the Welke's left we had a fun day to look forward to. It was good because I think we all would have been a sobbing mess at home. We met up with the Hodo family to spend some time at Alki Beach. Our original plan was to have the dads meet us down there for dinner and a bonfire but Jen and I both got our scheduling mixed up so we decided to make it just a day event.

As soon as we got there the kids got right to their sand castle building.

These are the two sand castles.  We always ask some random people to be our judges.   There has to be a clear winner.   

They were both great but Brody's team won.  

Once again we had to get a picture with the moms.

Yoga & Metal Detector
