Carrots

Ollie is loving all his food.  Here are a few pictures of him eating carrots.

His first tooth is also breaking through. (saw the first sign of it on Monday)   It's hard to get a picture of it.  It is always a little exciting when they get their first tooth but I will miss his gummy smile.  :)

Movie Night

We had our first official movie night as a family.  (The kind of movie night where we talked about it all day and talked about what kind of movie we wanted.  When we decided on a movie we went over to our neighbor's house.  They have a wide selection of movies).

We chose CARS and they also lent us Animusic which we watched a different time.

By the time our popcorn and blankets and movie were set up it was definitely their bedtime.  (I was hoping to start the movie much earlier...oh well).

The boys did a great job sitting on the blanket eating popcorn and watching Lightning McQueen.

Umbrella

When we got back from our trip to the fire station, Brody saw Brad's umbrella in the garage.  So the boys decided to test it out in the rain.

We also wanted to get a few pictures with the word Interlake on it.

Firefighter Mark

It seems like most places we go Brad runs into someone he knows or someone else knows him.  This happened again when we had to take Colt to the ER.  One of the firefighters that came to our house in the ambulance is also a track coach at Interlake High School.  (I have met him once).  Brad kept telling me "Mark said this or Mark said that"  I finally had to ask him "Who is Mark?"   When I realized who it was I felt bad that I didn't even recognize him.  He did look familiar.

Anyways, Mark sent Brad an e-mail and invited all of us to the fire station.  So on a rainy Sunday afternoon we took the boys there.

We called Mark to tell him we were on his way and 20 minutes later when we arrived he was out on a call.  The fireman at the station let us go inside and we waited until Mark returned.

Colt

Brody standing in the back of the ambulance.  He thought this was really cool.

This is the same car that Colt and Brad rode in on the way to the Emergency Room.

Our family shot.  Brody is blurry because he was jumping around.

The boys did a great job and seemed to have a fun time.  We have been invited to come back.

Pumpkin Carving Party

Our neighbors hosted the 2nd annual pumpking carving party.  (We are blessed with such great neighbors)

Here is Tigger and cowboy Liam.

Jason (our host) with the electric saw.

And of course Brad had to use it for our pumpkins.

While the pumpkin carving was happening I got some snuggle time with our cute little puppy, Ollie.

This was the fire pumpkin. (You have to love the Coors light on the side)

Classic Jack O'Lantern

Our little Tigger got some of Cowboy Liam's gear.

Happy Halloween!

I know there are a few anxious readers who want to see pictures from our Halloween.  So here they are.

Ollie was a puppy.  (Aunt Jessie gave this costume to us.  She actually bought it last year at a post Halloween sale and knew it would be the perfect size for our baby)

Brody was going to be Bob the builder (again) until we went to the Tansley's house and they showed him this zebra costume.  They said he could wear it for Halloween and he was sold.  (I kept thinking he would go back to Bob the builder but he never did)   Colt was Tigger because Jessie gave us that costume.

Tigger (Colt), witch (Abi), Puppy (Ollie), Runaway Giraffe (Andrew) and a Zebra (Brody)

We took the kids to Gilman Village to do some trick-or-treating.  It's a great place for the kids to get some practice and it's also fun looking at all the other costumes.  I have had a Snow White Costume for the past 6 years.  It cost more than I normally would spend on a costume (which is $0.00) so I felt like I had to use it a lot.  This was the first year when I didn't feel the pressure to wear it.  But as a last minute decision I wore it.  Oh my!  I was a celebrity!  All the little girls kept walking up to me and looking at me.  It was really cute.  I told Brad to remind me of that next year when I try to wear something else.

They had this display so we took a picture in front of it.  Now that I look at this picture it isn't the best background.

Here is the whole gang (minus Angie)
It was a very fun day and we are thankful the weather stayed very nice for all the festivities.

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch

I took the boys to the pumpkin patch at Fall City Farms.  We met Aunt Angie, Abi & Andrew plusTracy, Gunnar & Brynn.  We arrived a little early so the boys ran around this little hay maze.  They loved it.

 Ollie just loves being outside.
We checked out a few pumpkins (but didn't buy any and instead got our carving pumpkins at Home Depot).
 Me & Ollie
We tried to get a picture of all of us but they just wanted to climb on the hay.
And of course this little sandbox was the favorite part of the whole pumpkin patch.

Brody in the middle of the hay maze.

This is not a very exciting video but since I took it I thought I would still post it.
