We had our 3rd date for January Date Nights last week. I didn't tell Brad where we were going. We drove over to Broadway on Capitol Hill which is an adventure by itself. Then we walked into Blade & Timber, an axe throwing place.
Brad said "What? This might be the coolest date ever." (Our standards aren't that high).
I was happy he was excited about it.
We ended up getting our own lane. We were supposed to share it but the other couple showed up late so we had our own. (Thank goodness. They seemed like nice people but they were obviously still in the early dating stages so he was trying to impress her).
For the first few minutes we had a coach who taught us how to throw the axe. Then we had some time to practice.
After some practicing the coach came back and showed us how to throw it under hand and also throwing two axes at a time.
We had such a fun time and we are so thankful we were able to do this.
