They asked me to coach Colt's soccer team again this year. I really had to think a lot about it because as much as I enjoy coaching it is very challenging to do this time of year. With Brad coaching cross country it makes for a lot of logistics just getting to practice. Three games on saturday is also a challenge. But somehow we made it work.
Our team didn't have a stellar season. While we had the skills to win about 75 percent of our games we only had one victory for the regular season. Humbling.
We ended our season with a jamboree, on the coldest weekend.
We lost our first game.
Then we played on Sunday with only 6 players (1 player short) and ended up pulling out a victory and a tie. And our tie was in the snow.
It was a good way to end the season. But most importantly it was very fun watching Colt play.
