Karl & Lori invited us to go on their canoe. We met them up at Pine Lake Park. It was pretty warm at our house when we left so I was excited that the kids would have the chance to play in the water (even though it was getting close to dinner time). The cloud cover at the park made for a chilly dip in the lake but the boys didn't seem to mind one bit until they started shivering.
Thankfully we warmed up with some yummy dinner.
Then it was canoe time. Karl took two kids out at a time. It was Annika & Brody's turn first.
Ryker & Colt (we just love how these two are little buddies)
Brad joined us after cross country practice and got in the canoe with Karl, Colt & Ollie.
We all had a fun time and hope to make it out again before the weather gets too cold.
