Darby had a softball tournament in Huntington Beach. Last time she had a travel tournament she really wanted Bo to go too. This time they had more planning and Bo went along for the adventure. 

 

There was a posse of player's brothers so Bo had a wonderful time hanging out with all of them.  Plus, he was a great fan for Darby. 

 

There was a balloon that would go up and down near the softball fields so in between games Brad and a few other parents took the boys up in the balloon. 

 

There was also some time for the beach. 

 

 

2nd cousins

My cousin Jim and his family came to town. It is always a joy to catch up with them. Their kids are a little bit younger so it makes it a little challenging but our kids did a great job with them. And I love having young energy around again.

Moclips

We had another great week at Moclips and thankfully this year Brody was able to be there with us. We did have a disjointed week with some arriving late and leaving early. But we are thankful for the memories we get to make. 

 

It's a lot different now that the kids are older.  They just do their thing and what they feel like doing and sometimes that means not going out to the beach until 2.   But they sure do love being here.

Ragnar Relay

Once again I joined a group of friends to participate in the Ragnar Relay. My training hadn't been great then I got a calf injury a few weeks before. It was a bit discouraging but I went into the race hoping I could come out of it without any major setbacks. I am happy to report I finished, but it wasn't pretty. Here is hoping my training is better for next year.

College Camps

When Darby was in Colorado she participated in a few college camps. I don't think these have any big impact on anything yet but now she has experience with college camps. Plus, we learned a few things too. 

 

She participated in the UW camp and the Texas camp.
