Pizza time

The weather is getting warmer and drier so we busted out our pizza oven to get back into the groove.  Brody was so great at helping me.

Brody received an award at his school for the AP classes and tests he took.
It was called an AP Honors award.

5th Grade Camp

Bo's 5th grade class was the first to go to camp since before Covid. So, Brody & Bo are the only 2 kids from our family that got to enjoy this fun event. And I signed Brad up to be a chaperone.

While there were a few aspects of camp that weren't great, overall the kids and chaperones had a good time.  Brad said it was also the perfect amount of time (3 days, 2 nights).  Anything more would have been a bit crazy.

Gaga ball was the favorite activity and Bo enjoyed his time.

(More pictures may be coming).

Baseball Banquet

We went to Colt's high school banquet. He is always the first one called up for his team and he couldn't stop smiling. His coach had nice things to say about him including "I wish I played him more". Yes so do we.  Colt is well loved by his coaches and teammates and we are proud of all the hard work he puts in.

Driving

Another one behind the wheel. Ollie is going to be a great driver. He is cautious and also very into learning all rules. He has already told me how many rules I have broken.

Morning Run

Jen, Karen and I went for a morning trail run.  I'm thankful Jen stopped to take these two pictures.  We are so lucky to live where we do.

Substitute Tales

I have really enjoyed being a substitute teacher the past few years.   A few pictures to give you an idea of some of the things I get to do.

I knew I had a long break so I asked the teacher to leave me some projects.  She asked me to laminate a few things and I couldn't be more excited.   I love laminating!

In P.E. the kids did a bone relay.   I thought it would be pretty boring but the kids LOVED it!   This skeleton wasn't quite accurate with the fibula turned the wrong way.

And in the many tales of Kindergarten this kid got the tires of this car stuck in his hair.  Thankfully we didn't have to cut his hair to get it out of the car.    I would have had to do some explaining to the teacher and maybe the parents.
