More blue skies

My friend Carmen was at Mt. Bachelor with her kids so they joined us. She also gave me some more tips on my skiing. She also helped Arbor.

More hot dogs for lunch.  I love the car lunch break.

 

Part time Family time

Colt & Ollie flew home Monday morning and Brad, Darby and Bo joined us for monday skiing and the rest of the week. 

 

Dave, Steve and Sharon met us on Tuesday and helped us explore the mountain.  They even got this family picture minus Colt & Ollie.  Yes, it's a little weird. 

 

I was excited for Brad, Darby & Bo to go to the top of the Summit Chair.  

The views are pretty amazing!

Mt. Bachelor

The Welke family planned a trip to Mt. Bachelor and invited us to join them. (They were missing Annika, Lori and Aksel). This was also during high school baseball and soccer so it complicated a few things but we made it work. I drove down on saturday with Brody, Colt & Ollie. Darby and Bo both had baseball and softball tournaments so Brad drove down with them on Sunday night. Colt & Ollie were able to ski on sunday and then they flew home on Monday morning. 

 

Brad's cousin Dave met us at the slopes.  He was our tour guide the last time we went and was amazing.  This time he also brought Sharon and Steve and it was so fun skiing with all of them.   Dave even grilled hot dogs for lunch.  It was the perfect blue bird day to have a tailgate in the parking lot. 

 

We made it to the top of the Summit Chair which we weren't able to do last time so it was fun to get that high.  

 

Helpers

Bday celebration!

Papa Bob and Grandma Shari came by with their fur babies, Jetta and Blue.   They came to celebrate our March birthdays.   It's hard to find time between softball and soccer games. 

 

 

18!

It's hard to believe we have another adult in our house. Brody turned 18 and some of us were a little emotional about it. We are so proud of the young man he has become and can't wait to see where this crazy world takes him.

 

Hiking

 Colt & Brad have been doing some hiking.  They might try to climb a mountain this summer if we can find a time in our schedule.
