Hagrid's

Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure is the most popular ride at the park and one of the few rides that doesn't allow Express passes. But Jenny's recommendation was to either go early in the morning (rope drop) or late at night right before it closes. So, we did both because why wouldn't you. And also because Brad missed our morning adventure and we knew he would like the ride. Both times the wait was at least an hour.  The ride was pretty awesome but the debate is still out if it was worth it.

This is me the next morning going by myself.  I got in rope drop line by 7:15 and waited until they started letting people in.  I was in Hagrid's line and off the ride by 8:26.   It was epic!  

 

Antojito's

For our 2nd night of dinner we went to a place called Antojito's. The food was pretty good but it was tampered by our ridiculously long wait to get our tables. We had a reservation and were even there about 10 minutes early but it still took them over an hour to get us seated. So it was pretty frustrating. 

 

But we are always happier after our bellies are full. 

 

Universal Day 2

We spent our 2nd day exploring Universal Studios. We went on a few different rides, including ET. We stopped for lunch then went to a show.  Then the kids went on rides they wanted to do for a 2nd and 3rd time.  

 

Harry Potter

A few pictures from our time in Harry Potter world. We aren't big Harry Potter fans so we didn't really know all of the story and background but we were still very impressed by what we saw. I actually went out of my way to make sure Brad saw it because I knew he would think it was cool.

 

Margaritaville

Jenny made dinner reservations at Margaritaville and thank goodness she did. We were a total of 21 and finding tables for that many people isn't easy. Thankfully we got there before the dinner rush and they were able to handle us without too much trouble. But we had the most fun with a few drinks and the balloon lady who made a variety of fun hats for some of us.
