Sunset

One of the small blessings we had is that it stopped raining just as the sun was beginning to set. We forced all the kids to go outside and head to the beach to enjoy it.  (Notice Ollie in his robe). 

It was so beautiful! 

 

Interpretive Center

Cape Disappointment has a Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center and we were very thankful it was open. It was a good break from being in the RV so we could avoid some cabin fever.

It was a great center and they had lots of interactive exhibits to keep the kids entertained.  

 

RV time

For our Spring Break we decided to head to Cape Disappointment and Cannon Beach in MARV. We invited our friends, the Hodo's, to join us.  We left on Saturday and arrived around 3:00.   It was raining and it really didn't stop until we left for Cannon Beach.    And this wasn't just a light drizzle....it was dumping or a very heavy mist.   So we spent a lot of time in the RV playing games and watching movies.   Even though we didn't get to explore Cape Disappointment as much as we would have liked we were thankful for the games and RV time we had.

Spring Sunset Singers

Darby had a spring concert for Sunset Singers. She even had a pretty significant role playing the beat on the bowls. It's fun to watch her participate in things other than sports.
