The Log Place

Every time we visit Moclips we venture over to the "log place". It was fun to explore because it looks so different. There were a ton of logs that had been washed up to this area and the kids were fascinated by the change. We were also there during a really high tide so it was the highest tide we had seen over at the log place.

 

Relaxing

We did a lot of this. Puzzles, games and watching sports (football and World Cup!)

 

Happy Thanksgiving!

The two pictures I got from our Thanksgiving meal. Grammy did all the work and the food was delicious.  The company was amazing!

 

Turkey Trot

I'm trying to keep the family tradition alive with a forced family Turkey Trot. There are a few complaints but once we get moving I think everyone feels better for getting some exercise.

Playing games

We had lots of fun playing beach soccer.  It was cold but we had some sunny days and sunny moments on the rainy days.  Our biggest challenge was finding a time when it was low tide because the high tide was pretty far up the beach. 

We also played board games. Well I didn't really play but everyone else did.

Moclips in November

We headed to Moclips Tuesday after school.  We stopped for dinner at Panera Bread.  Even in these moments when its just our family together it makes me so thankful for this family we have.

Subway

Darby had a basketball tournament.  She missed a few games because she still wasn't feeling the greatest but she did manage to go to a few.   After the game she convinced Brad to take her to Subway.
