Lake Limerick

After our time with the cousins we headed to Lake Limerick to spend time at our friend's cabin. The weather wasn't great so we spent more time indoors than we have in the past. We still had fun finishing puzzles and playing games.

 

Mt. Adams

The day the cousins came into town Brad & Colt were getting ready to climb Mt. Adams. I still have to get more pictures because there are a lot of them but here are a few to start off the day.

They drove down and spent the night before waking up early to start their climb to base camp.

Mario Kart Champions

The kids do get on screens when they are with their cousins. But they do a pretty good job of balancing it out with some outside activities. One of the things they did this time was set up a Mario Kart tournament. They had spreadsheets, brackets and homemade trophies.  

 

Gunner & Elijah were the champions.  

 

Redondo walk

John & Jenny took the kids down to Redondo Beach for a walk and some exploring.

 

Water Balloons

The kids spent their last day with the cousins at Papa Bob's house. They needed to use the water balloons that Grandma Shari bought earlier in the week so they had a water balloon toss.  Bo & Brody were the winners (at least for one of the rounds). 

 

Baseball support crew

Colt had an evening baseball game and all the cousins came to support him.  We finally had a nice evening of watching baseball.
