Dippin dots

We got to have Ellis at our house for a few nights.  He tagged along with us while we went to a baseball barbecue.   They had dippin' dots and we all had a fun treat.  

The next day we went to watch Bo play baseball.

We love having Ellis around.  He brings so much energy and joy to our home. 

(We only wish Eva could have stayed too but for some reason her mom isn't ready to leave her yet). 

Bonus zoo day!

A few weeks ago Darby and Bo had a few extra days off because too many teachers had Covid.  At first I was going to try and see if I could get someone to watch them so I could sub but then I decided to make the most of our time.   I took them to the zoo and invited a few friends too.  

It was a blast and such a great (educational) way to spend our extra day off school.

Darby's friend (& our neighbor) invited her to go for a hike.   I love it when they spend time together. 

Behind the Wheel

 I have been talking to some friends and some of the feedback has been that you should try to do Driver's Ed in the summer so you get driving experience in the light and (hopefully) better weather.  I looked up class dates and found one that seemed to work perfectly so we signed Brody up.  And now we are practicing on the road.   Can't believe our baby is this old.  I'm thankful he has a healthy fear of driving but he is doing great!

Golden Tee

Brad has been wanting to get a golden tee game for a while.  We were going to get one a few years ago but then someone else bought it.   A few weeks ago a friend of his told him about another one for sale.  Brad didn't want to wait this time.

Ollie got a haircut and Brad documented his work.   What a cutie!  

Mother’s Day Baseball

Bo had a game for his Issaquah Baseball Club.  They had a little pregame ceremony for all the moms, complete with flowers. I have a picture with just me and Bo but I can't get it to upload.
